An IHK apprenticeship (also known as a dual vocational training program) is particularly well-suited for students who enjoy hands-on work, want to enter the workforce quickly, and wish to start earning their own money early on.
A dual study program is better suited for those who, in addition to hands-on work, also enjoy theoretical content, want to earn an academic degree, and aim to qualify for specialized or leadership roles in the long term.
