Klaus has been driving for Grieshaber as a professional truck driver for nearly four decades. He started in 1987 with little experience and is now an integral part of the long-haul fleet. His daily work routine continues to be characterized by flexibility: sometimes he sets off early in the morning from a rest stop, other times he takes on new routes at short notice. It is precisely this variety and the freedom on the road that make his job so appealing to him.

Even though he spends a lot of time on the road alone, Klaus feels a strong connection to Grieshaber. For him, communicating with dispatch, colleagues, and customers is a natural part of the job — just like the camaraderie outside of work. What does he value most? The respectful interaction across all departments, the good cooperation with the warehouse, office, and management, and the feeling of being able to rely on one another after all these years. For Klaus, one thing is clear: Grieshaber is more than just an employer — it’s a team you belong to.
