The partnership, which has existed since the start of the cooperation in 2014, is characterised by consistent adaptation to the customer's specific requirements and the joint development of innovative solutions. The focus is on the high standards of services for the pharmaceutical industry, which are seamlessly adapted to the customer's needs.
The services in the collaboration include the provision of qualified shuttle transport in the temperature range of 2-8 °C (chilled) and 15-25 °C (ambient). In addition to GxP-compliant storage and handling in both temperature ranges, transport management across all modes of transport (road, air, sea) - known as order processing - is also part of Grieshaber's logistics service.
Over the last decade, the service portfolio in the partnership has been continuously expanded. This includes taking over the logistics services for passive and active refrigerated shipments in the 2-8°C temperature range, handling the system registration of serialised products and various other administrative activities.
In addition to the constant drive to improve processes, regular and open coordination at eye level was and is a key success factor in this partnership. In these consultations, current and future challenges were discussed and joint solutions and optimisation approaches were developed, which were then implemented.
