A light goes on in the warehouse

The development of the new put-to-light picking trolley is a great success. Light signalling significantly increases efficiency and accuracy when placing products in the target container with the multi-order picking process.

Employees can concentrate fully on picking without having to constantly look at the display. Their hands also remain free. This saves valuable time and reduces error rates. Overall, the new trolley is an innovative and forward-looking solution.

Thanks to the put-to-light trolley, order pickers can pick up to 28 containers at the same time. The order picking trolley is already being used in two projects. Further projects and additional trolleys are already being planned.

This pilot project once again demonstrates the innovative strength of our employees and the excellent implementation of a new and innovative solution for Grieshaber to make existing processes "leaner" and more efficient for our employees through the use and combination of existing technologies (the interaction of multi-order picking, lighting system and sensor technology).
