ASTRE Europe: ASTRE gets a new ‘European’ management organisation

ASTRE is a leading cooperation of medium-sized transport and logistics companies in Europe.

ASTRE's shareholders have approved a new management structure for ASTRE. Whereas ASTRE was previously managed centrally from the ASTRE France region, the ASTRE companies have now been restructured so that a newly formed main body, Astre Europe, will oversee the various regional European units in future.

The new Board of Directors of ASTRE Europe consists of ASTRE members from the various regions in which ASTRE has members. These are currently ASTRE France, ASTRE Italy, ASTRE Benelux, ASTRE Spain & Portugal and ASTRE DACH. The more ASTRE members a region has, the higher the number of members on the Board of Directors of ASTRE Europe. Each member of the Administrative Board has one vote.

 

NEW MANAGEMENT

ASTRE Europe is headed by President Denis BAUDOUIN and Vice-President Fabien Chazot. In addition to the President and Vice-President, there are 14 other members on the ASTRE Europe Board of Directors.

Grieshaber Logistics Group AG belongs to the ASTRE DACH region. ASTRE DACH is currently represented on the ASTRE Europe Board of Directors by Ulf Tonne. The Board of Directors meets six times a year.

 

Striving for a strong and balanced European network

In addition to its supervisory function, ASTRE Europe will support the various ASTRE regions in their further development and promote cooperation between the different ASTRE regions.
