Building update: The expansion of the Logistik Park Hochrhein continues to take shape
The Grieshaber Group has been operating the Logistik Park Hochrhein with 25,000 square metres of logistics space since 2013. In September 2025, the ground-breaking ceremony marked the start of the expansion of the site with an additional 14,000 square metres of logistics space. The expansion will cover the temperature ranges ‘ambient’ (15°C to 25°C), chilled (2°C to 8°C), frozen (up to -20°C) and ultra-frozen (up to -80°C) for the demanding pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
The extension in Rheinfelden-Herten is continuing to progress according to plan. The construction site now impressively shows how the new building will fit into the existing structure. With each construction phase, completion is one step closer, highlighting the contribution the project will make to our future performance.
Shell construction almost complete & Interior work and technical installations begin
A major milestone has been reached: the shell construction is largely complete. The load-bearing structures have been finished, the civil engineering and structural work has been completed, and the façade is almost completely closed.
At the same time, electrical, heating and building management systems are already being installed. As soon as the building envelope is completely closed, the coordinated expansion of the interior and storage areas will begin.
Particular attention is being paid to energy-efficient solutions and modern building technology, which not only optimises future operations but also underlines our commitment to sustainability.
Forecast
In the coming months, the focus will be on intensive interior work. Completion and commissioning are scheduled for June 2026.
