The focus topic of our new Motion issue is DUALITY.

Duality manifests itself in two fundamentally different forms. On the one hand, complementary skills can achieve optimal results, while on the other hand, very different skills can bring out new strengths.

The world of logistics in particular exhibits a striking duality: on the one hand, there is technological progress, which automates and accelerates processes; on the other, there is the continuing need for human skills.

Many activities still require human judgement, flexibility and the ability to respond appropriately to unforeseen situations. This duality between automation and human presence makes it clear that people remain a central factor in logistics.
