Economic Advisory Council of Bad Säckingen visits Grieshaber

The Bad Säckingen Economic Advisory Council consists of representatives  of the business community and the town of Bad Säckingen. The aim of the Economic Advisory Council is to support the economy and the companies in the region and to network with each other.

The main topic of the meeting was ‘Energy’.

This mainly centred on the planned expansion of the district heating network in Bad Säckingen and issues relating to power supply in connection with the current transformation process.

For Grieshaber, the connection to the district heating network could represent an alternative to the current oil heating in the administration building in Bad Säckingen.  In addition, the introduction of electric lorries is a key issue and it needs to be clarified whether the necessary charging infrastructure can be set up at the Bad Säckingen site.
