Economic Advisory Council of Rheinfelden visits Grieshaber

The Economic Advisory Council of Rheinfelden is made up of representatives from the business community and the town of Rheinfelden. The aim of the Economic Advisory Council is to promote the economy and companies in the region and to network with each other.

The meeting at Grieshaber in Rheinfelden focussed on company development, the expansion of the site and language promotion through joint language courses for companies in the region.

People from 39 different countries now work at Grieshaber. A pilot phase of language courses was therefore launched at the location in Rheinfelden in October 2023. Due to the very positive response from managers and, above all, course participants, the German course programmes were extended to the location in Bad Säckingen and Biebesheim. During the meeting with the Economic Advisory Board, the co-operation with other companies in the region was discussed. Language plays an important role in the recruitment and development of employees. Cooperation would therefore be a win-win situation for everyone involved.

Mayor Klaus Eberhardt was impressed by Grieshaber's development since the opening of the location in Rheinfelden. ‘Basically, you have become an IT company that sends out a few consignments on the side. You are to be congratulated on your development, because if you didn't use IT and AI, you wouldn't be able to keep up, not even internationally,’ said Mayor Klaus Eberhardt.
