Expansion in the Markgräflerland - Grieshaber expands its site in Müllheim (Baden)

Looking back: In 2012, the first Grieshaber location in Müllheim went into operation. At that time, 3,500 racking spaces were available. In 2017, the location was already expanded by a second hall with 2,000 storage spaces.

However, due to the high demand for high-quality logistics services, even these capacities were exhausted after just under four years, so that an additional logistics facility could be put into operation on 1 September 2021, just a few metres away from the existing location.

Grieshaber now manages a total of 8,500 high-bay storage spaces and 2,000 square metres of handling space in the new Müllheim Logistics Centre. The handling area is now available for the transport of general cargo, part loads and full loads to France.

The heart of the new facility is a 2,500-square-metre ground-level area for order picking, packaging and assembly, as well as for other services such as packaging. In addition, all hall workplaces have an EDP connection, high voltage current and compressed air. Furthermore, there are two crane systems that can move unit weights of up to 250 kilograms.
