Europe-wide distribution of high-quality plant extracts from Switzerland

At the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2023, Grieshaber Logistics Group AG took over the Europe-wide distribution of high-quality plant extracts from a Swiss manufacturer.

As part of this new customer acquisition, the daily factory disposal of all ready-to-ship orders, customs clearance within Switzerland and Germany and subsequent Europe-wide distribution to the final recipient will be handled by Grieshaber.

The added value for the customer results in particular from the daily and consolidated collection of all ready-to-ship orders, customs clearance and the subsequent shipment-specific feeding into various transport networks from the cross-docking warehouse set up for this purpose in Bad Säckingen.

The takeover of distribution by Grieshaber leads to considerable cost savings and has a positive effect on delivery times.

In addition to the cross-docking warehouse in Bad Säckingen, there are also plans to take over the storage of certain product groups in the future.

The faster availability of these products is just one advantage, another is that vehicle utilisation on the pre-carriage from Switzerland is increased.
