GLG Connect goes live!
The winner among the name suggestions was GLG Connect, because Grieshaber Logistics Group AG wants to bring all employees together - whether from the commercial or industrial sector - and enable everyone to take part in internal communication.
The app is intended to serve as a communication and information platform. Current internal and external company news is shared and reports on campaigns, innovations and events are provided.
Relevant HR topics and documents will also be shared via the platform and interfaces to other programmes will be created. This means that everything can be accessed and retrieved via an app.
In the past, it was difficult to share personal documents or training documents via existing employee portals, particularly in the commercial sector. Employees who only had limited or even no access to computers still received these documents in paper form.
As the topic of sustainability plays an important role for Grieshaber Logistics Group AG, one of the primary goals was to replace this process with the employee app and get rid of the paper form completely.
Whether in home office, office, warehouse or on the road, everyone now has their own access to their GLG Connect employee app and can therefore be kept up to date with the latest news at any time and from anywhere and retrieve or download personal documents such as their current salary statement. In the future, it is planned that even time recording can be handled via the app.
