Climate-conscious thinking

In times of low interest rates and housing shortages, real estate is trading higher than ever. Currently, nothing increases value better than an investment in a building. In this respect, it is important to maintain a property as sustainably as possible and in the long term, in an optimal balance between people and nature or business and environmental balance.
Many different factors play a role here: the so-called hard and soft facts. It is not only the weighing of operating resources in relation to yield and efficiency that must be taken into account, but also the participation of employees and the communication of the meaningfulness of measures is essential.

We have already implemented and are planning several actions to further pursue this idea. For example, we were able to reduce energy consumption in this area by 60% due to the renewal of the lighting in 2019 and 2020. But also through employee actions and the creation of habitats for insects and lizards, as well as the maintenance of green spaces, we aim to promote awareness of environmentally friendly behaviour. Our activities, such as cycling to work or other health measures, are intended to convey the harmony between people, work and the environment in order to create sustainability for all players in this cycle without exploiting resources.
