LogCoop and Astre DACH plan Europe-wide groupage network

The aim of the cooperation is to establish a European network of general cargo connections to and from Germany that is competitive in terms of both price and transit times.

A system based on gateways for freight bundling is to organize the main runs. They are routed via these gateways as direct transports to the respective destination countries or directly to the regions with the highest volumes, without any hubs in between.

In view of the strength of Cooperation of Astre, which was founded in France, on the domestic market and the dense network of partners there, the focus is on covering and consolidating transport services from Germany to the neighboring country to the west.

The Astre DACH members, to whom Grieshaber Logistics Group AG belongs, have also joined LogCoop since February 1 and can access all LogCoop offers.
