More efficient, more transparent, more secure: Grieshaber develops its own returns management tool

The IT department at Grieshaber Logistics Group AG, in collaboration with the logistics team from the Industry Solutions division at the Rheinfelden site, has developed its own returns management tool for our logistics customers.

Essentially, the application significantly simplifies the entire returns process. All key information relating to returns is presented in a standardised format and can be accessed online at any time. This includes, amongst other things, the various processing statuses. Mandatory fields, predefined response options and integrated, automated validation procedures simplify data entry and largely eliminate potential sources of error.

A key advantage of the tool is that staff from different departments on the client side – such as sales, customer service or quality assurance – can obtain a quick and transparent overview of the current status and all relevant facts at any time. This is supported by the application’s multilingual capability, which significantly simplifies communication and speeds up processes. Time-consuming searches for information in lengthy email threads are now a thing of the past.

Another highlight is the integrated automated process monitoring: if a return remains in the same status for too long, reminders are automatically sent to the relevant parties.
