Ten years of Ypsomed - a partnership lived at the same level!

This successful partnership between Ypsomed, a leading developer and manufacturer of injection and infusion systems for self-medication and a proven diabetes specialist based in Burgdorf/CH, and Grieshaber Logistics Group AG began in July 2013.

With the go-live on 01.07.2013, in the then newly built Logistics Park Hochrhein in Rheinfelden, the Logistics Park Hochrhein was inaugurated by the then Chairman of the Board Kurt Grieshaber in a ceremonial setting, and the first pallet with diabetes products was stored.

Over the course of time, the planned Central Warehouse Europe for medical products was able to grow continuously and gradually expand further. In addition to the development of the various European markets, numerous optimisations and value-added services, which the Grieshaber Group offers in its portfolio, were integrated into the project structure. These include, for example, the optimisation of peak management through integration in the  multi-user/pick-pack area, the creation of various country gateways and the introduction of automated customs clearance processes. Thus, the volume of this project to be handled has increased sixfold since the start of the project until today. This considerable increase, while complying with high qualitative and regulatory requirements, could only be implemented through continuous and professionally established project management as well as a constantly agile organisational structure.

On 16.08.2023, those involved in the project from the diabetes specialist and Grieshaber celebrated the happy occasion of the ten-year partnership together.

A special highlight was the anniversary gift from the customer. A rock crystal stone as a symbol of strength and depth, which the management and the project team were particularly pleased about.
