Temperature-controlled warehousing for pharmaceutical products
Grieshaber Logistics has been active in the market as a pharmaceutical logistics provider for over 30 years. We operate several temperature-controlled pharmaceutical warehouses in Germany. These meet the special regulatory and quality requirements for demanding cold storage.
Thanks to our many years of experience in the field of cold chain management and refrigerated transport, we now have unique expertise. This expertise enables us to penetrate the value chain of cold chain storage to a very special extent.
Cold chain management in warehousing
In industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and biotechnology, the correct storage and transport of products at specified temperatures is of absolute importance. Therefore, so-called temperature-controlled warehousing is an indispensable element in these sectors. The reasons for this are manifold and crucial for the quality and safety of the products.
Preservation of product quality
Pharmaceutical medicines and perishable foods are among the sensitive products that are strongly affected by temperature fluctuations. To ensure their quality, efficacy and safety, storage at the optimal temperatures is essential
Compliance with legal regulations
In some industries, for example in the pharmaceutical sector, there is an obligation for companies to store and transport products under certain temperatures. Temperature-controlled warehousing can meet these regulations and avoid possible legal consequen.
Extending the shelf life
In some industries, for example in the pharmaceutical sector, there is an obligation for companies to store and transport products under certain temperatures. Temperature-controlled warehousing can comply with these regulations and avoid possible legal consequences.
GMP-compliant logistics centres with different temperature zones
Our temperature control is operated climate-neutrally at all locations via heat pumps in combination with PV systems. The 100 % redundant systems are connected to a backup power system. This means that the systems can continue to operate even in the event of a power failure, thus safeguarding cold chain storage.
Storage in temperature zones
Our refrigerated and frozen storage covers five different temperature zones:
- + 02 °C bis + 08 °C
- + 10 °C bis + 20 °C
- + 15 °C bis + 25 °C
- - 18 °C
- - 20 °C bis - 80 °C (Walk-In + Stand-Alone-Freezer)
GMP compliance
GMP compliance plays a crucial role for pharmaceutical logisticians who are responsible for the storage and transport of pharmaceutical products. As a logistics company that handles medicines, they must adhere to strict GMP guidelines to ensure the highest quality standards.
Stock management
Stock management including batch and expiry data management is essential for companies that store pharmaceutical products. The complex management of the inventory requires a systematic administration of the warehouse.
Order management
From acceptance to completion. We manage and process your orders according to prioritised status according to urgency and importance incl. the required documentation.
Returns and disposal management
We offer a qualified returns process as well as certified disposal management for your temperature-controlled pharmaceutical logistics as an additional service, which rounds off the diverse service package.
Temperature security...
